Synthesis
The DNA Analysis Facility is your conduit to the leading manufacturers of oligonucleotides. Our partnerships allow you to order from Bioneer, Eurofins MWG/Operon, IDT and Sigma-Genosys, using portals to the manufacturer's web-sites. These portals provide low pricing and free shipping. Oligos may be ordered in individual tubes or in plates. Through the portals, you have access to the full variety of modifications and speciality probes that each manufacturer offers, including their specially licensed dyes and nucleotide modifications, siRNA, shRNA and gene synthesis. Orders are delivered to your lab with your usual Core Store deliveries or you may choose to come and pick them up in our facility.

Prices listed below are for standard, unmodified oligos, with standard turn around times. Each company also offers "same day" service, which means that oligos are synthesized and shipped the same day. Same day orders are not eligible for free shipping. See each company's portal for pricing.
Unless specially requested, all oligos are delivered dry and need to be resuspended. Oligos may be resuspened in either sterile water or, preferably, TE (10 mM Tris, pH 7.5-8.0, 1 mM EDTA). The use of DEPC-treated water is not recommended. If you are making a concentrated stock solution, we recommend dissolving your oligo in TE. Working solutions can be diluted from the stock solution using sterile, nuclease-free water.
Oligo orders must be placed by 2 PM for standard shipping times to apply.
Each vendor requires their own login and password, which must be specific to the JHU portal. Logins for the standard company site may work, but will not link to the appropriate pricing. .
