Ordering mechanisms differ depending on the product you are ordering.
Sanger Sequencing and Pyrosequencing
All Sanger Sequencing and Pyrosequencing orders are placed using the JHU ordering server. This data management server has a wealth of features, including e-commerce style ordering, the ability to edit your own requests, storage of sequence information on the system, email notification of order status, and storage of invoices. The server stores your data indefinitely while simultaneously providing immediate access from anywhere in the world.
To access the secure JHU ordering server, simply go to the site and follow the directions for creating a login. The last step in the login must be completed by us, but is usually done a few minutes after the login is created. Make sure to put your PI information in the box marked "Institution" to make the last step faster.
DNA and RNA Oligonucleotides, siRNA, shRNA, etc.
These must be ordered through the JHU portal for the respective company. Orders for standard oligos placed by 2 PM are usually in our facility within 48 hours. Overnight ("Same Day") orders and orders for oligos in plates do not qualify for free shipping. If you are currently a customer of one of these companies and have a username and password, you must set up a new, different, one through the portal or you will not receive the special discounts and free shipping. Please note that Sigma accounts take 24-48 business hours to be activated.

Specialty assays
To order assays from Qiagen using Geneglobe.com, including Pyrosequencing assays can be ordered by creating and saving a cart on the site and emailing it to us.
