Fluoresent dye phosphoramidites are available for the preparation of fluorescent dye-labeled oligonucleotides (FDLO).
A diverse array of nonisotopic detection experiments requires fluorescent dye-labeled oligonucleotides that can be easily incorporated into any PCR-based assay. The Model 373 DNA Sequencers equipped with Genescan 672 software used at the DNA ANalysis Facility detect and quantitate the fluorescent fragments. FDLO made with these reagents can also be used for other applications such as in situ hybridization and cell uptake studies.
